Craft Beer in a Can

When presented beer in a can, beer connoisseurs would usually turn their nose up in disgust. But many breweries are beginning to dispel this stereotype by offering craft beer in a can. National Public Radio online recently released an article saying that according to the National Brewers Association, 45 craft breweries nationwide have begun releasing their craft beers in cans. The idea is that canned beer is great for an outdoor lifestyle and as such, would first appeal to such states as California, Oregon, Montana and Alaska. In addition to making outdoor activities easier, canned beer is lighter to ship and often tastes better, too, since cans protect the beer from elements like sunlight and oxygen.
