Title: Disappointing specials - Review: I went here with my wife, she ordered one of the big bowls for $15 which was very good but I think that they must have thrown mine on a plate while hers was being made. I decided to try the fish tacos which were on the special board at the entrance. $18.00 for three tiny bite size tacos with a minuscule piece of breaded fish...seriously the size of a stick of gum and stone cold! It was almost as if they walked over to Ralphs, bought some frozen fish sticks, sliced one into three pieces and threw it on three tiny shells with some lettuce. I won't go back.

Title: Best Meal in California - Review: I recently went on an 'eating' trip to California. Living in the New York area, we often go to New York to try a new restaurant or simply go to some of our favorites. We started out in San Francisco where we were excited to be having lunch at Alice Water's restaurant, Chez Panisse. The food was delicious although we realized that much of what we paid for was 'The Alice Water's Experience'. We then went down to San Diego and had dinner at Thee Bungalow. It too was highly anticipated as friends had referred to it as 'a hidden gem'. What we had not expected was to have the best meal we have had in years! We were delighted to find that as part of the menu, there was a special Julia and Julie menu. Two of us had Julia Child's Boeuf Bourguignon , From the regular menu the scallops, and one the duck. Desserts were of the same high caliber and the wine choices extensive. Chef Paul was kind enough to come out and speak to us and we found the wait staff friendly and extremely professional. This ... Title: Seafood Eater, Now Loves Stake Too! - Review: A friend and I went for dinner. Our server Gaberiele was very friendly and accomidating. Never once did I need to have to ask for my glass to be filled or my empty plate/glass to be removed from the table-he was on it everytime! We ordered the Escargot Pastry..YUM! It went very well with my glass of Malbec Wine (Suggested by the waiter)...Then came my 24oz Ribeye steak...WOW! I ate this thing waiting for a bone and not until the very end did I find a chipped pinky-fingernail sized bone in the meat...WOW!!! ALL MEAT!! I also had mashed Potatoes and because I like flavor, I requested garlic to be put in and the waiter made sure of it! YUMMY YUMMY YUM!!! And lastly I had the Chocolate Passion...Full of Chocolate as the name inclines...My roomie had the Buffalo Steak which he loved! Waiter got $40 for a tip for his great service! He was awesome! And the food was.......AWESOME TOO!!!
