Title: Anniversary
Review: We stayed at "The Dell" for 3 days to celebrate our 44th anniversary. The Chief Concierge "Eddie" was fantastic and reserved a very special table at the Prince of Wales room. I had the $85 Kobe beef filet, expensive, but absolutely the best filet I have ever eaten. The wine list is made up mostly of inexpensive and terrible wines. AGAIN we called on the Chief Concierge "Eddie" who went off property somewhere in San Diego and was able to obtain the wine we wished for dinner, a new pinot noir by Duck Horn called Goldeneye, and a wonderful Pinot Noir called William Selyem, very had wines to find, very expensive, but for a 44th anniversary money was no limit. We tell this story because the manner we were cared for by the Hotel Dell, especially the Chief Concierge, "Eddie" and through him the management of the Prince of Wales room is how a very very special occassion should be handled. We loved the Dell, We loved the Prince of Wales room, and oh yes we thought the food was excellent, The dining room in the Prince of Wales is absolutely beautiful and warm. The servers are teaming together and hovering over your every need, they were great. We will return again
