What type of food is available?Our catering and delivery menu includes over 100 appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts, and is sure to please even the pickiest eaters in your party. We offer a variety that ranges from simple to ornate; healthy to decadent. With our delivery service, your party can share an appetizer of Toasted Tuscan Bread before enjoying such diverse entrees as Scallop and Asparagus Risotto, Chicken Cacciatore, and Kansas City BBQ ribs. More casual options such as soups, salads, and sandwiches are also available. And don’t forget dessert! Can I order from more than one restaurant?We have found that keeping service to one location helps us ensure quality and delivery speed, so all of the items on our delivery menu are prepared in the same kitchen. However we are convinced you will find something to please everyone in the wide range of cuisines and culinary techniques in our menu. Take a look! That sounds great. When can I order?We offer delivery every day of the week from 10AM to 10 PM. Orders can be placed any time up to two hours prior to delivery, and advance orders are gladly accepted. Where do you deliver to?We offer delivery services within San Diego County. For specific zip codes that we deliver to, click here. I’m located outside of your delivery area. Is there any way you will deliver?We will deliver outside our traditional delivery area for orders of $300 or more. Please call us, as orders outside our delivery area must be placed over the phone. Is there a minimum order for delivery?Our minimum order starts at $50, and depends on the location we are delivering to. Please visit our delivery rates page for more information. Is there a delivery fee?To ensure quick, reliable delivery from our kitchen to yours, we charge a small delivery fee. Our delivery fee is based on location, and starts at $5.95. Is gratuity included in my order?Yes, for your convenience we include a 15% gratuity, although you are welcome to tip your delivery driver additionally. What is included with delivery?Just like at a restaurant, we serve bread with each meal. We will also provide you with utensils and napkins, so you have all you need to enjoy your meal when it arrives. We don’t deliver beverages, so be sure to provide your own. All of this sounds great. How do I get started?Our convenient online ordering system allows you to view our menus, see descriptions of each menu item, and place your order and pay directly online. Payment is quick and easy with a credit card, and we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Larger parties or those with special needs may arrange an order with our staff over the phone. For orders placed far enough in advance over the phone, orders may also be prepaid by check. Can I use gift certificates from San Diego Restaurants.com?No, at this time we are unable to accept gift certificates for delivery services. How far in advance should I place my order?Generally, orders should be placed at least two hours in advance for parties under 10 people, and at least 24 hour in advance for parties of 10 or more. Our deliveries are made in 2-hour increments, and we will fill your order during the next 2-hour slot after your order is placed. Increments are from 10AM to Noon, Noon to 2PM, 2PM to 4PM, 4PM to 6PM, 6PM to 8PM and 8 PM to 10PM. What if I need to cancel my order?Because our chefs often start cooking immediately after an order is placed, orders placed within 24 hours of delivery times are not refundable. For advance orders, cancellation prior to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. What about large parties?We offer both delivery and catering services for any size party. Our ordering options allow you to order individual dishes or opt for family or party size portions. Our family sizes generally serve 4-6, and are offered at a 10% discount, while our party sizes serve 10-12, and are priced at a 20% discount. As a bonus, we waive delivery fees for all orders over $300! Please note that we recommend making arrangements at least 24 hours in advance for parties over 10. Someone in my party would like to customize a menu item. Is this possible?If you have food allergies or other dietary needs we encourage you to call us to discuss altering certain menu items. We certainly try to accommodate special needs but can’t guarantee that all menu items are alterable. What if I’m looking for something a little more formal than delivery?We gladly provide catering options for large parties, and invite you to call our professional staff to discuss how we can meet your catering needs. With our catering service, we will send a chef and wait staff to your event to prepare and serve your meal on site. Our catering services are available with a minimum order of $2,000. |
