    sports! sports! sports!

Bottomline the BEST place to go and watch sports with their HUGE tv screen. But beware of the noodle soup. Overall I give this a 4 out of 5. The food is excellent and fast but two people I've talked to got really sick when they ordered the noodle soup.

    Dining & Sports

I loved the food at Seau's. Especially the teriaki chicken. The ribeye steak was awesome too. The laarge television screen is kind of hard to see from some parts of the room. It seems to have lost some of it's color.

    Good food but too $$

I know that the cost of food in sports bars has sky rocketed in the past few years, but they push the limit. The food is very tasty, and service is good (usually from a very cute waitress). Lots of TVs. This place is packed during football season though, and they do limit how long you can stay. If you want a laid back afternoon watching games, do not go here. If you want someplace loud and rocking, then you'll like it.

    BIGGEST WINGS EVER!

I am a fan of all things Chargers so Seau's had to be a stop on my Labor Day adventure in Southern California. I had read all the reviews and still went to see for myself. The place was clean, the waitress was friendly, the food portions were large and well prepared. The wings beat every wing I have ever had before, better than places that are famous for wings. After all the negative reviews for Seau's I am glad I went and can only say good things. Go Chargers!!!!

    Good 1st impression

I just went here for the 1st time and it was during football season on a sunday morning. The breakfast burrito was great, and so was the club sandwich. The service was great -fast and friendly. Many TV's with great quality including a huge bigscreen. The crowed was of a good mix and fun. Since it's on the edge of the mall it has tons of parking, so easly and close witch is hard to find in San Diego! Only negative was the DJ playing a little too loud and he had a bad taste. Going back this sunday again :)

    Go Chargers!

Okay..well not really "go chargers!" I have eaten here a few times. This isn't one of my favorites. The food isn't really that good and the sushi has some kind of wetness to it which makes it unappetizing. The porttions are okay. It is a cool place to have a beer and watch a sports game because of the big screens they have. For dining, it is okay. The times I have been there, someone seems to be complaining about service. I too felt discriminated by some of the waiters at Seau's. Im not sure if it is because I am of a different race...but whatever it is, they need better service.

    Loud

Enjoyed the food but the restaurant was a bit loud. The courses came a little too quickly, meaning I wasn't done with one when the next was already being served.

Go for the Big Screen TV

The best thing here is the big screen...it's perfect for watching games. The food is definitely overpriced. Some friends who went about a year ago said the portions were huge, but when I went back with them last week we were all very disappointed. Paid $13 for the Mama's Combo which is basically a Hawaiian plate lunch. It was good, but $13?!? I know Seau's mama isn't feeding him tiny servings like that.

Health Inspector should check out this place!

Bad food & very unclean! Bathroom had a stalls "out of order" and no soap in the dispensers. The salad I ordered had a stench and was obviously old. The burger I ordered had brown guacamole and a long piece of hair! GROSS!!!! The area where servers got drinks looked very unsanitized. The health inspector needs to check out this place and Jr. Seau needs to keep up his restaurant

    horrible!!

this was my first and last time i am ever going ot seau's! i was in a party of 11 1/2 people. it took 3 hours to get drinks, appetizers, main dishes and 1 desert. it was a not so busy thursday night. the hostess was oblivious to the fact that we had our 6 month old son in our party. we didn't get a high chair until we asked a bus boy 20 minutes after being seated. everyone ordered water since it was a hot day. second round of waters tasted like half sprite half water. gross. i ordered a lemonade and got diet lemonade. yuck. ordered the bbq chicken salad because that is my fav @ red robin and cpk. man, did they screw it up! it's a salad not rocket science!! it had a dollip of bbq sauce on small piece of rubber chicken that had no flavor. and the lettuce was shredded taco lettuce that was drowning in ranch. one of the other persons in our group got a pasta dish with chicken. she took one bite and yuck! tasteless chicken too!!! i asked for a water since diet drinks are nasty. got another diet lemonade!! my hubby got the linguine and clams. he liked it but the portion was small for a pasta dish. he was still hungry after his meal and he already had a few appetizers. service was horrible. the bus boy was the most attentive. the server never asked how our food was and never stopped when we tried to wave her down to try and order some different dishes because we didnt like our meals. they need a whole new wait staff!!

    Over Rated

My husband and I decided to go there in spite of having other plans, I wasnt impressed. The service was awful and the food was mediocre at best. I asked the waitress what was taking so long for our appetizers and she game me some lame excuse about the printer O.K., things happen BUT then it still took a good while for our food to arrive. And when it arrived it was not what I expected at all. My husbands mashed potatoes where watery, his veggies had no taste, his ribs where burned and flavorless AND I dont want to get started on my meal!....Now I am a person that believes in second chances...It was so awful I will not give this restaurant second thought!!!

    bad policy

Arrived at Seaus with my girlfriend during the third quarter of the first games when the first one was over my bill was closed out!!!! I was not even finished ordering sushi yet and was asked to get up due to their one game/15 dollar per person sitting in the sushi bar and dining room, there were seats still available! I would not reccomend this place to no one Junior should have taken his place to Miami when he left!

    lousy service

During a recent visit on my lunch hour, I was greeted at the door and seated right away. Being seated was the only thing that was done quickly. After placing my order, I watched as other families, that were seated after me, happily eating away. Fifty minutes went by and I finally asked the waitress what was taking so long. Her response was that there was a game on and that's what was holding things up. So do the chefs/cooks watch the game? Does their staff consist of all athletes that they are too enthralled in watching the basketball game that was being televised? My understanding is this is a SPORTS BAR AND GRILL!! You will find a game on at any time of the day, every day of the year there. does this mean that service is ALWAYS slow? all I ordered was a sandwich, and that took almost an hour to serve. In speaking to the manager, he also explained to me that it was because of the "game" that things were backed up in the kitchen. I was left speechless! It is amazing how unconcerned the staff and management were when it was brought to their attention.

would rather have a happy meal

the food was ok but what sets this place apart from others it has the worst service of any place i have ever been, it was almost impossible to have our waitress get us anything

Worst service I've ever had to date.

I had liked going to the sushi bar at Seaus because of the great deals at happy hour. But on more than one occasion I have received poor service from both the waitresses and the sushi chefs. They take too long with everything, and it seems they also like to ignore people. I even wrote to the company on their online site but it seems like they just don't care. They really need to work on their customer service and stop with the better than thou pompous, arrogant act.

    Bad

Worst sports bar ever. Didn't even have the Manny Pacquiao fight (Sports Bar??). Seriously, I would have paid the 60 dollars so that I along with others could have watched it. That's not even the worst part, the bartender (Noel) there said that the seats that were at the bar were taken by guys that had not even shown up there. So I politely sat in a different chair, 3 hours later his friends showed up (2 of them). He even pretended to have drinks for them even though they weren't there. Very dissatisfied with the service and I felt very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this restaurant for anyone.

    Catering Services at Seau's Suck!

I have been trying for 3 days to place a catering order with Seau's. 1. Thursday afternoon, 7/22/10 - I was told to call Trish, she handles catering request. Trish was not in, I left her a voicemail. Took done the cell number reference in her voicemail. Received No call back. 2. Friday afternoon, 7/23/10 - Called Trish on her cell phone. She told me she was at the cell phone store because she was having problems with her cell phone. (Do I care? I was talking to her on her cell phone.) She said she would call back. Received No call back. 3. Saturday, 7/24/10 - Trish leaves me a voice message to call Chef Eric he can handle my order. I called Chef Eric, he didn't even say hello into his phone. I called his name into the phone, then he said hello. I introduced myself, and he promptly told me he was in the middle of doing something and would have to call me back. Needless to say, I will not be placing my catering order with Seau's but taking my business elsewhere.
