Ate a lovely dinner here after having lunch in La Jolla earlier in the day. This is an island of sanity and authenticity compared to the lunch experience. La Jolla featured semi edible food stacked in artful piles with unusual condiments. The Urban grill kept it simple, with nice choices of ingredients we all recognized as edible. Our waiter in La Jolla continued to refer to the 2 women in the party as " darling" and "young woman" (we are in our 60';s) in a cheerful patronizing tone of voice which made us want to summon him with the term "macho shithead", but we kept our manners about us and rewarded him with a tiny tip. By comparison, the Urban Grill waiter was polite, deferential when appropriate, and well informed about the menu.

Nice looking restaurant. The steak could have been cooked less. Our orders did not come out together. They tried to make it up to us but we didn't want dessert.

BIG PLACE!!! outdoor patio dinning on 5th Ave. Huge bar and spacious, yet cozy, dinning area. A prom group of 20 was dinning while we ate and couldn't even tell they were there. ANGELA was excellent; very attentative. Must have the TOMATO BASIL SOUP and the CHICKEN SATAY. Made same day reservations and got the exact seat I requested!!! Great specials, fair prices, and AMAZING FOOD!!!

it was a fun classy place for a date or just for the family. I loved the food. It is a bit on the expensive side so this is a good place to go on special occasions.

I would and have reccommended the Urban Bar and Grill to lots of friends and intend to visit it again soon. The steak salad was great.

Had a great time at this restaurant. first time coming here, really enjoyed the waiter-he was very nice and had a sense of humor. Personally, I had the lamb-which was fantastic! My friends liked their fod as well,I recommend giving the Urban Bar and Grill a try.

The atmosphere and service at Urban were both fantastic...the food, while beautiful in presentation, left me a little lacking in taste. For an average meal it was good, but the appetizers and entrees that I chose did not stand out to me as being memorable

Everything was presented beautifully and tasted great. We had the seared Ahi and the Chicken Curry and both were great. Would have been 5 stars except that they forgot our appetizer.
