Title: What a fun place! -
Review:
This was the only 'chain' restaurant we went to on our trip. The food was great, service too. It was fun, fast and filling. Just what we needed after being on a plane for hours.

Title: Music too loud - Review: Nice place to get some crabs especially if you have kids. Costumers and servers stood in the middle of the restaurant doing the hokey-pokey. The music was way too loud. Not too expensive, $65 for 1 appetizer, 2 meals 2 soft drinks and 1 dessert.

Title: Great food, Great View, Great Bartenders - Review: Ok, went here twice in my 5 day trip to San Diego. First time we grabbed lunch on the patio. Great view of the ocean. Awesome server, her name escapes my mind, but she was upbeat and cool. We returned later on that night for the 2.50 Corona's. (Thursday) 11 corona's, 2 jager bombs, and 2 shots later, we're smashed, have learned that Stacey is a huge beer pong player with an official pong along table, and a whole lot more about PB in SD in general. We closed the place down and the tab was less than 60 dollars a person with tip. Great place to grab a bite or a beer, or two, or 11.

Title: Mediocre - Review: I was here for a family dinner and was not impressed. We were seated in an awkward area (I guess due to our group size)right in the middle of an open area with heavy foot traffic. The food is mediocre and not worth the price. I would suggest going to a non chain restaurant instead. The atmosphere is also forced and somewhat cheesy.

Title: Ehhhh.... - Review: It's a fun atmosphere, but the food is just ok. I've been to the Mission Valley location and it was ok, but nothing special. Not a bad place to go with family or friends, but I wouldn't suggest taking a date there.

Title: Avoid the Wait... - Review: Make reservations first! This is one of the few casual theme restaurants that takes reservations. You may still have to wait for a few minutes, but you'll certainly wait less than you would w/o reservations. The food is a bit pricey but the BBQ crab is the best. Enjoy!

Title: Good fun - Review: Joe's Crab Shack is a loud, fun, and very low-key place to hang out. The food is unpretenious and good. This place can get crowded so arrive early.

Title: Fun But Stinky - Review: The food was better than average, and the service was a lot of fun. However, the dining area had a lingering scent of old gym sock. I suppose it was the damp air and seafood, but it was a turn off. The food, drinks, service and reasonable prices were what saved the experience for me. I would recommend it for a large group, but not for intimate dining.

Title: Poor service - Review: We had reservations for 7:30pm and were not seated till after 8pm. I had told a hostess and our waitress that it was my daughter's birthday and it was forgotten. Food was good but way over priced! Won't be returning any time soon!
