Born in India, raised in London, and finishing his studies on the East Coast of the United States, Chef Jonathan Hale's varied background has been a major influence in his culinary career. Working everywhere from Cape Cod to Hawaii and settling in San Diego in 2001, Hale took over as Executive Chef of the Gaslamp Quarter's first seafood restaurant, Blue Point. After creating a first class menu and earning numerous awards, he moved his efforts to Balboa Park to apply his unique style and innovative flare to The Prado. Sprucing up the California Cuisine found at this establishment, Chef Hale has made himself a distinguished leader in the culinary community and the Cohn Restaurant Group family.
