Title: | Adequate and expensive |
I have now visited Mille Fleurs three times - each one hoping that it would demonstrate why it has such a stellar reputation. Each of the three visits has left me underwhelmed, both in terms of service and food. Last night, I was there for restaurant week, which one would expect to be busy. However, despite the reservation, our table was not ready and we were told to "wait in the lounge". After we were seated, the service was efficient - overly efficient. Despite our efforts to slow the pace of the food, it was brought quickly and taken away quickly. The food was fine - but certainly nothing interesting or memorable. In summary, there are better choices I think to spend a lot of money for food in San Diego.
