Title: | Good Margarita, Bad Dinner |
I'll admit, my friend and I had had a few when we went to Gringos for dinner. It was my first night in PB. We ordered a large margarita which was delicious, but thats pretty much where the fun ended. We were seated outside next to the firepit. Very cool atmosphere, I'll give it that. My friend had nachos for an appetizer and I got the lobster margarita. They were OK. I'm all fired up for my fajitas and what arrives, but the driest, most devoid of flavor chicken I've ever tasted. I order a vodka soda and it arrives. It's terrible. My friend tastes it to make sure it isn't just me. I tell the waitress who has a little attitude on her that the drink is weak. She is flabbergasted and claims she watched them pour it and it is half vodka. No way. She brings it back and I order a beer. Overall, overpriced with an attitude. I'd go back for happy hour, and just grab drinks. Maybe try the champagne brunch too.
