Situated on the upper floor of the Fish Market, Top of the Market, serves up the catch of the day in style. Paneled with soft dark wood and accented with crisp white table linens, the chipper dining room is outshined only by the beautiful scene it overlooks. The ocean gleams bright through the large open windows that stretch the length of the restaurant. So while some guests may enjoy watching the preparation of their meal in the airy exhibition kitchen, others are encouraged to soak up the California sunshine and dine on the covered patio. By using the best the sea has to offer, talented Chef Michael McDonald has utilized his practiced skills to create an award-winning, palate pleasing menu.

Title: | Tourist trap |
In my estimation the location was excellent. Also the staff was fine. The food was fair to poor. I think The Top is depending on non repeat tourist customers.
