Prior to writing for SanDiegoRestaurants.com, Lauren graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in English and anthropology, dabbled in catering and PR, and worked as an editor for a small San Diego-based publishing company. She is a member of Slow Food International and firmly believes in celebrating the pleasures of the table.
