can i call you

I really enjoy your chicken caesar salad i like to order carry out. I also like to recommend your lunch menu to my friends but we keep running across a little problem that I have brought to your management attention. You don't have your telephone number on your menu. As much as I like to eat there I still don't know the number by hard. so please put it on your menu. Thank you.

Excellent Dinning

I went to Dave and Buster's and had the best ever experience, there is a new kitchen manager there and the food was great, nice portions on the plate, the food was hot and fresh, I would tell anyone to go there, after you eat you have so many great games to play it is the perfect family place.

Family Vacation

Hello, all this is the second time I have visited Dave and Buster's in the last month, My family and I had the best time, I had some family visiting from the Las Vegas area and we wanted to blow some time and I had surgested going to dave and busters, we were met at the front door, went to the dinning room, we were sat pretty fast, I had orderd the Huli Huli salmon, my wife the jd sirlion, my brother the cajun shrimp pasta, my sister in law the chipolte salmon salad, it was all great, the food was on our table with in 15 minutes, all hot and looking fresh, after eating we went and to play some games, it was great they have so many games, we happened to see something going on in a banquet room and asked one of the bartenders what was going on he replied that it was a thearter dinner party that they do once to twice a week I could not remember the name of it. But my wife and I are going to go next month and I will keep everyone informed about our experience.

EXCELLENT!

GREAT TIME !

happy hour =)

I've eaten here a few times. The food is ok. The prices go a long with the quality of food. Not too expensive but also not the greatest. I do go here for happy hour though. Dave and Busters have half off on most of the liquor. Get an Adios for $3. Wow, can't get that much cheaper anywhere else. Definately a fun place to hang out with friends and family. After eating and drinking, you can break off a sweat and lose some calories playing video games and other kind of games all night. Take your kids, or be a kid at heart. You can also karaokee or shoot some pool also. Lots to eat, drink, see and do. Just becareful during the weekend hours...it can get a little crazy and busy.

Sevice Service Service....

It's the best of drinking games and pretty decent food. I have had plenty of people tell me that if you don't like something they will definatly go out of their way to make it right. Good on the managers.

great time!

I love going to Dave and Buster's. It's a resturant, bar, and giant arcade. A great family place to go. The food prices are reasonable and we always receive good service. The games are a little pricey, but that is normal. I've been to D&B's here in SD and in Honolulu, HI and both I give a guarenttee thumbs up.

Surprisingly tasty!

I have never been dipleased with the dining at D & B's, though the wait time can be long. Try the Jack Daniels Steak, the mashed potatos are delicious. Good Martinis too!

Irvine is better!

Food is good but the bathroom is way too far away from the quiet area to eat.

Don't Bother Eating Here

Don't bother eating here. The service was a horrible experience. The server didn't know any of the rules associated with the specials, and he was constantly trying to upsell drinks for a bigger tip, even after we told him that we just wanted food several times...annoying!!! The food was poor quality (we ordered the ribs) very fatty and the sauce was bland. Great place to get drunk and play video games, but eat before you get there.

OVERALL BAD SERVICE...

A friend of mine came to visit from England and my husband and I took her to Dave and Buster's (D&B)the day before my birthday, which was our very first time going. We bought our "power cards" from the girl at the booth, who was really nice. We had a great time playing the games and running around like big kids! At around 11:30PM, we sat down at a table and ordered some appetizers from a very nice waiter; my friend got the potato skins, which were delicious and my husband and I shared the Chicken Nachos. We expected a big plate of nachos w/fresh chicken to top it off with cheese, guacamole and sour cream etc. There were about 6-8 pieces of nacho chips with melted cheese on top with tiny pieces of dried chicken on it and the rest. They were average tasting nachos, but we expected more. The bill came to about $21.88. We left D & B and went home. The next day was my Birthday. I took the day off work to celebrate with my friend and husband. Unfortunately, I woke up having a very bad stomach ache and nausea. I found myself running to the restroom every 20 minutes until about 12pm. My husband used our other bathroom. Sorry to tell you this, but we both had bad cases of diarrhea! Not to mention the fact that my husband threw up! My friend was fine. She didn't have any of our nachos. Still feeling bad, we called D&B after getting most of it out of our system and spoke to a representative about our bad morning experience. We told her that we most likely got food poisoning from the nachos we ate, because we didn't eat anything else after we left D&B and before we went to D&B we all (including my friend from England) ate the same food throughout the day. We asked for a refund and she said that she would have to speak to someone at their Headquarters in Dallas, TX. She took down our personal information, including our Social security numbers and said that she would have someone contact us from D&B Headquarters Human Resources Dept. We couldn't believe that she didn't just honor the refund and apologize for the experience. We ended up speaking to 3 more people since then. The 3rd person told us that they had to open up an investigation and that if there were more people who were affected, then they would be happy to refund us and give us gift certificates to their establishment. They gave us an option of going to the hospital and getting checked up so they can see the evidence or we could just wait. We were too sick to even drive to the hospital; on top of that, we would've had to pay $15 each for the co pay. More importantly, where is the customer service. We realize that there are many frivolous law suits in our society today, but what happened to “The customer is always right.” Who in their right mind would attempt to swindle four different company representatives, only to profit $21.88? We are posting this message to inform everyone who is considering supporting Dave and Buster’s (anywhere); that D&B may be a fun place to escape the daily trappings of adulthood, but if you should acquire food poisoning (as we did), or experience some other form of disappointment at D&B, don’t expect to receive any adequate form of customer service. In fact it is probably more realistic to anticipate that you will have to prove your disappointment beyond any reasonable doubt before you even receive a phone call from D&B human resources offering to “take a look” at your receipt so that they can “see what they can do.” Save yourself the grief and either avoid the food at D&B, or just cook your own food and entertain yourself at home…at least you’ll know that customer service is a priority, and not a consolation prize.

Management is very rude

So, Dave & Busters at least in San Diego has one of the most non -cooperative & unaccommodating management ever. I understand they don't take reservations, so when we requested that they at least put our name on the list if a small part of the group shows up, they just kept repeating policy. It was like talking to a computer. A mean one at that. The manager even said that there is only one option and I have to take that event planning thing or else its my problem. Event planning / contract etc for just a simple surprise dinner with friends? No way. Is this an entertainment avenue or the military that they talk to you this way?! Customers come last, Policy first here. SUCKS. Maybe its because they don't have competitors. Who knows. Either way, never giving them my business again.

Terrible

The food is awful, the service is slow and management sucks. If you want to piss away $50 this is the place to go. Matthew K. Donner
